VISUAL STAGES - 1
Observe and establish the centre
Begin with the whole face. A centred reference helps you compare the two sides without assuming they are
identical.
What to do
1
Seat the client upright with the head straight, eyes open and expression relaxed.
2
Identify the centre through the forehead, bridge of the nose and cupid's bow.
3
Draw one light centre line. Step back and confirm it follows the face rather than the camera crop.
CHECKPOINT
COMMON CORRECTION
The line visually divides the face and gives both brows
one shared reference.
If the nose is naturally angled, use the overall facial
centre and frontal balance - do not blindly follow one
feature.
