Mark a straight vertical reference through the
centre of the forehead, nose and cupid's bow, as
shown by the red line marked 1.
From the nostril area, project vertical guides
upward. Mark both starts and compare their
distance from the centre line.

Establish the lower baseline
Compare upper height
Place a light horizontal guide beneath the brow
bodies. Do not lower a naturally higher brow
simply to meet the line.
Add the upper horizontal guide. Use it to
compare thickness and height, then refine for
bone structure and hair growth.

Locate each arch
Locate each tail
Use an iris/outer-iris reference with the client
looking straight ahead. The arch must remain
connected to the natural brow body.
Project a diagonal from the nostril area toward
the outer eye. Mark the endpoint and check it
against the opposite side.

Connect the outline
Join start, arch and tail points with smooth upper
and lower boundaries. Keep the front soft and
the tail tapered.
Recheck the full face
Compare length, height, thickness and visual
weight. Show the map to the client upright and
refine before treatment.
IMPORTANT
The grid is a comparison tool. Preserve healthy hair and adapt the final outline to the client instead of forcing
perfect mathematical symmetry.
