Find the tail direction and endpoint
The tail completes the brow. Its length and angle influence lift, eye openness and the balance of the outer
face.
What to do
1
Project a diagonal from the nostril area toward the outer corner of the eye.
2
Mark the point where that diagonal meets a believable extension of the brow.
3
Compare both endpoints horizontally and ensure neither tail descends below the brow front.
CHECKPOINT
COMMON CORRECTION
The tail tapers and supports an upward or neutral
visual direction.
A tail that is too long or low can pull the eye down. A
very short tail can make the brow look unfinished.
